The N albuphine (NBP) Rapid Test (Urine) is a rapid chromatographic immunoassay for the detection of N albuphine in human urine at a cut-off concentration of 100 ng/mL.
N albuphine (NBP) is a synthetic opioid analgesic used to treat moderate to severe pain. Lt acts as a mixed agonist-antagonist, primarily targeting kappa receptors while blocking mureceptors. This unique mechanism provides effective pain relief with a "ceiling effect" for respiratory depression, making it safer than pure agonists like m orphine in cases of overdose.Additionally, N albuphine reduces the risk of drug dependence and has a lower potential for abuse. Common side effects include sedation and dysphoria. Crucially, it is also used to reverse respiratory depression caused by other opioids without completely eliminating their analgesic effects.
